Shaun is definitely a very lucky man to have so many people behind him. I am Sergeant Chris Williams mom. Vicki Waggoner. I've had the privilege to meet and sort of get to know Shaun on my many trips to Oceanside, CA, to visit Chris while he has been stationed at Camp Pendleton the last 3 1/2 years. This is one of the greatest tributes I've ever been privileged to be a part of! These men of the 11th Marines are some of the bravest ever. I want them to know many people pray for them every day, and God is surely with them every step of the way. God Bless the Marines!

I pray for you all the time and ask god to keep his hands on you and the rest of the soldiers fighting for our country. Hello! I am Chris Williams' step-mom. As in the Williams that Shaun is with. I met Shaun when Chris' Mom & I were in San Diego. (Right before they left) We took everyone out to eat at Outback & Shaun ordered a hamburger (we had all ordered steak)!!! Chris found the waiter & changed Shaun's order to the same huge steak he had ordered. At the time I thought what a nice kid he is...didn't want to order anything expensive because we were paying!!! When the waiter brought everyone's order the look on his face cracked everyone up! I also talked to him at Chris & Jahala's apartment one afternoon & I can honestly say you have one fine man there! Just thought I would share these thoughts with you...we are always praying for all of our men

Shaun, I hope and pray the God will be with you in this time of service to our country. It is because of men like you that my family enjoys freedom. Thank you for your sacrifice of service. Always remember that no matter where you are, you are NEVER out of God's presence! To The Webb Family... The website looks great! My prayers are with you, as well. I know it must be hard to have your son - your loved one - gone off to foreign shores to fight for the freedom of people who don't always appreciate the sacrifice. I tell you now...I am one who appreciates that sacrifice. Not only is Shaun making a sacrifice, but you are, as well. You could have tried to convince him not to join the military, to stay home and be safe, but you placed him in God's hands and let him follow his heart. Thank you!

My prayers are with Chris and Shaun and all their fellow Marines and other service men as they are over seas away from their family and friends. My prayers also go out to all the families of these individuals as they go to war. I pray that everyone makes a safe journey home very soon as all their family and friends are ready to hug and kiss them and to tell them how proud they are of them. Shaun - we have never met, but I am good friends with your sister Lisa, and know your family well. I don't know you, but I still want to thank you for what you are doing. I know that many other people would not have the same amount of courage that you do and I am thankful to you for that. I know how worried your family must be, but I also know that they are very proud of you and what you are doing. They talk about you all the time, and how they cant wait for the day you return to spend time with them. I am also proud of you, because if we did not have men in our country like you, we would not be able to get through this. I will pray that God is with you and the rest of our US soldiers. With all that Lisa has told me about you, I know you will have the courage and pride to continue to stand up for our country and safely come home. Good Luck and cant wait until you return to finally meet the person that Lisa admires most. Christine

shaun- well the war is still going on..i thought they would have surrendered by now, but i guess not. you have no idea how much i worry about you. everytime they mention something about a marine my heart drops and i get so scared. you have so many people praying for you right now though..i just know you will come home safe and have so many stories to tell us (hopefully all good). i know its just as hard for you to be there then it is for us to be here, but i know you are a TRUE marine and you will see this through. when we went to church sunday you were in everyones prayers and will continue to be. i couldnt help but cry the whole service just thinking about you and if you were ok. everyone keep stelling me though that you are a beast and that you will make it out ok! on a happier note though i pitched monday against plainfield and we won!! i had you in my pocket the whole time so dont worry you are with me at all times whether it be your picture in my pocket or you just being on my mind. i have said this time and time again, but you are my #1 hero and always will be. i look up to you so much and you inspire me to be someone soooo much more than everyone else is. you keep me pushing to achieve every goal i set for myself. i want to thank you for that and also for fighting for not only mine but everyone else in this world's freedom. i love and miss you soo much! may god keep his hand on you at all times and bring you home safe. love **lisa marie**

Vicki Waggoner, Chris's mom, has been our family hairdresser for over 20 years. Our kids, Brandon and Ashley, are about the same age as Chris and his brother, Adam. We have been glued to the TV ever since the war began. Vicki's son Chris is the only person that we know directly that is involved in the war. We think of Vicki everyday and we can't imagine what it must be like to be in her shoes. We pray for Chris's safety and the safety of all of the troops and leaders involved in this conflict. I also pray that our country will support our troops so that they are not treated like many Vietnam vets were. We recently toured the USS Alabama at the Battlefield Memorial Park in Mobile, AL, so we have a better understanding of what Chris, Shaun and the other marines experienced on the USS Anchorage. I think the wall of pictures on MSNBC is GREAT! Putting soldiers pictures and names on display really personalizes the situation. Everyone has a story that makes them special and unique. We thought Chris had filled out, but he looks much smaller standing next to your son Shaun. Thank you for sharing your son Shaun's life with others. God Bless America

What a great tribute! This should offer much needed support to those who are wondering what is going on, back home. Our thought is that those poor souls who are protesting are so far outnumbered by PATRIOTS, they'll be drowned in there own self pity and forgotten as quickly as they jumped in to make those ridiculous protests. Our collective prayers, repeated often, are with all of you who have volunteered to be in harms way, on our behalf.

Mr. and Mrs. Webb, I just want to let you know that what Shaun is doing is great. I read the article in the paper on sunday and thats how I found out that he was overseas. I was wondering if he was over there but I wasn't sure. I am going to try and send letters and e-mails. I was wondering exactly which is the best way to contact him. I am sure he is very busy but I would like to try to get in contact with him. I have his mailing address but I am having a hard time trying to email. So if you can maybe send it to my email that would be great. Thank you so much.

May the signatures in your guest book, especially from those who did not know you before entering your web site, give you faith, love and encouragement. I pray for you and all in the military who give so much for us all. I have a son and a daughter, both 28 and 31 and they are lawyers. I tell you this because I want you to know that, as I helped my son move last week, I thought of the young people who were moving. Not those moving to another apartment, but those moving to a foreign country. I immediately prayed in thanks for the blessing those of us who stayed home have received because so many men and women over the decades have chose to be our protectors and hero's. It hurts to know some give so much for us. Keep safe, Keep Heart, Know we Keep you in our prayers.

Shaun, we wish for you and all our brave and loyal troops a SAFE, successful mission to rid the world of hate, fear, and the growing menace of WMD in the hands of irresponsible, unaccountable people. The morons who want to "give peace a chance" simply don't realize that sometimes TALKING just doesn't get the job done. It's like a family on a long road trip; after repeated verbal admonishment that doesn't correct the behavior problems in the back seat…….. someone in the FRONT seat has to swing - around and slap some of those in the back seat! I'm afraid the "liberals" of the world will never figure that out. THANK YOU FOR BEING IN THE FRONT SEAT, Shaun. We want every one of you home soon and safely. Watch your back.
